Articles Wordpress importer broken MODx Revo 2.2.12?

Hi,

The Articles Wordpress xml importer isn't working for me:

Environment: Running a VPS with post_max_size 60000000 (local value) / 8M (master value) & PHP Version 5.2.17 / Apache MODx Revolution 2.2.12 Articles 1.7.6

WP xml file size = 32mb

Have tried file upload from desktop > No error is reported, the uploaded uploads 100% and just disappears leaving the original Import Articles screen Apache error log / MODx error log: blank - no issue reported.

Have also tried uploading to /core/import/ though the interface just refreshes after a few second and nothing is imported.

Any ideas?

Are you sure your server is configured to allow 32mb uploads? Curious if you can successfully upload it to say your assets folder through the manager.

I'm pretty sure, I've uploaded files 20+ MB before on the same server. In any case, I removed a bunch of comments (lots of pending spam comments it turns out) and got the size of the .xml down to 1mb and re-tried - same issue (for both local and server install). You're welcome to have manager/ftp access to debug if you need.

I am also unable to import my Wordpress XML file. I am running the latest wordpress and the lastest modx and articles (everything is totally up to date). All plugins and extras are up to date.

@jpdevries if you would please help with this (and any solutions should be posted in the thread for others to see). Thanks

I also tried the Migration Tool and that didn't work. After configuring the settings and ensuring that the php file is publicly accessible, the php script gives me the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on a non-object in /home/ccc/public_html/modx/core/model/wordpress/wp-migrate.php on line 157
