Remove blur from mod icon
Is your suggested enhancement related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes. It is very annoying to always need to upscale the icons for my mods - when Minecraft mods are primarily PixelArt-iconed.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add an option to disable the blur for your project.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Remove the blur altogether or add a built-in upscaler.
Additional context
Additionally, in some places the icons aren't blurred:
It should use nearest neighbour scaling if the icon is smaller than a certain size
I think that this is actually a bug - as you've noticed, project icons are rendered as pixelated in most places, and the fix of #289 with PR #1077 suggests that icons should be treated as pixellated all the time.
After further research, I've been unable to find a case where a project icon is rendered as blurred. For example, MrKirbs8x has a 8px*8px icon, and is rendered as pixel art. Are there any cases where this is not the case? Or are you looking for this behaviour to be customisable?
@MMK21Hub https://modrinth.com/mod/trinketables was, on firefox. However, it is currently owned by the modrinth archiver, and I no longer have access to it - it wasn't released.
i have recently discovered this bug and i have some additional information...
when you go to the mod's page directly, the icon will be blurred... however, if you get to the page from other modrinth pages which don't have this bug, the icon will not be blurred...
Can confirm the issue when using the condition mentioned above.
To reproduce, simply visit a project page with a very low-resolution icon, e.g. https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/mrkirbs8x. Be sure to directly visit the page, without navigating to it from another page on Modrinth.
