Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.

It's super tedious to ugprade to a new version of minecraft and figure out what mods will work and which ones don't.

it often follows the flow => upgrade instance -> launch -> figure out failures -> remove -> launch -> figure out failures -> launch success

It's doable for people who understand what they're looking at. But he majority of the community don't understand stack traces.

What I propose.

  1. when the user upgrades instances it does a mod version check on every installed mod on that instance
  2. if the mod doens't have a release for the current instance version, it gets disabled
  3. the user is alerted which mods are no longer enabled and gives the modrinth link with a message like "report an upgrade request on the mod github or contact mod author to add support"

this drastically reduces the amount of errors people will report when upgrading.
