Several articles on support.modrinth.com under the Modrinth App section are based on old versions of the launcher and no longer apply.

  • Unlock instance/Unpair instance were merged into Installation -> Unlink instance

  • Repair instance was moved to Installation -> Repair
• https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/9977693-where-are-my-instances
  • App directory was moved to Resource management -> App directory
• https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/8797659-java-installations
  • Java settings was renamed to Java installations and the article is missing Java 21
• https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/8827653-installing-updating-mod-loaders-and-game-versions
  • Edit mod loader/game versions was renamed to Installation
• https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/9038231-minecraft-sign-in-issues
  • The account popup menu is different in general
• https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/8797761-invalid-session
  • App directory was moved to Resource management -> App directory
