Play button doesn't update until no longer hovered

Describe the bug

When you click on a profile's play button on the main screen, it won't update to the stop icon until you are no longer hovering over the play button

Steps to reproduce

1. Click on a profile's play button
2. Don't move the mouse
3. See that the instance has started (top left)
4. See that it doesn't update until you are no longer hovering

Expected behavior
