Suggestions And UI Issues

(1). Cant Pause/Cancel Downloads
Would be nice if we could be able to pause or cancel downloads. My Wifi is slow so if I accidentally get something I didn't want its annoying to wait for it to finish, times it can take over 30 minutes.
(2). Download Bar covering menu with no hide option
The image should explain this well enough but also have a concept of a solution for it.
Again, for 30 minute downloads it will take a while to be able to see that bar.
(3). Error Message Issues
Idk where to send this specically as it's an issue for me both on the website as well as the App, but these errors:
First: I need them to stay on the screen, they come and can vanish like 10 seconds later, I dont glue my eyes awaiting for them to pop up
Second: They are too easy to close and they hide messages, they don't always show the whole error, they runn of the screen as you can see the SHA, not important for SHA value, but if it was an error message as last night for me it can be annoying.
But we also cant click and draw to select text to copy or read more cause any click closes the error.
(4). Theme Idea
This one is for no issue, but a appearance idea, the App so far looks very clean and I love the design so far :D
But I could easily see people wanting to customize it somehow so what if we could replace elements with images, perhaps with even some blur features as such:

Describe the solution you'd like
(1) - Pause/Cancel download feature (cancel more important for rn) (2) - Toggle added for download indicator so we can continue to see the menu behind it. (3) - Remove click remove feature and add a sort of 'dismiss' button, along with no timeout so we can see them in time. Also doing something with the text wrapping would be nice, but if we could click them that should be fine. (4) - Theme files we can use to customize the appearance.
