✨[SUGGESTION] Make it possible to play the same instance with multiple accounts
If your Minecraft client is running, you can't launch the same instance twice because it shows the "Stop" button on the profile instead of the "Start" button, which kinda makes sense because most of the time you want to close the game when it's running instead of opening a second instance of Minecraft. But I have 2 accounts and I sometimes need to test some things with multiple accounts at the same time 👍
So to make it possible to launch the same instance multiple times, you guys should do one of 2 things:
A) Remove the "Stop" button and make it always display the "Start" button, even if the game is running B) When the game is running, have the "Stop" button be there, but also add a new button that would start a second instance
It's possible to launch the same instance X number of times if you just restart the modrinth app, then the app will "forget" the running instance and show "Start" in any modpack. But this is a temporary workaround, so this issue will stay open
sugestion to this, make an option to switch between what is currently now (one instance per modpack) and allowing allowing multible instances, like in option/sugestion A
Would also love this feature, the workaround by closing/opening the app to start another instance shouldn't need to be used.
This feature is not possible without rewriting major parts of Minecraft. This is because every instance has a lock file that prevents it being launched multiple times due to bugs. But the ability to launch multiple different instances without restarting would be cool.

Not exactly sure what you mean, considering you can easily run a second instance of the exact same instance type/directory with the workaround mentioned. This feature is also something MultiMC/Prism Launcher has already had for a while.
