modoboa
fails for admin account
If one attaches email addresses to the admin user, webmail cannot login to the IMAP backing service and throws
Error: ['[AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Authentication failed.']
This may be caused due to the [email protected] requirement for mailbox user accounts.
This error message is relayed from dovecot. I won't be able to do better than that, unless I a specific validation rule at account creation/modification level (I mean prevent username without an @ for accounts with a mailbox). What do you think ?
I was rather thinking of visually improving, i.e. by introducing a big icon and nicer typography that doesn't look as broken, the error page depending on which errorlevel dovecot returns.
