Template
ImportX uses default template. If default template does not have TVs, the TVs, although accepted by Imprtx are not populated. Easy fix: change default template to the the one you want to use, then change it back afterwards.

Are you requesting I add a template selection, or is this more of an FYI? Op 13 jan. 2012 07:19 schreef "Nic Boyde" < [email protected]> het volgende:

An FYI for others, and a request to document this in the manual.
It would be nice to have a template selection, because I want to import different content into different templates and it isn't useful to change the default template every time. It would be nice, but now I use this trick too.
+1 for this feature, I have content to import that uses several TV not activated on default template. Either specifing the template id in the csv or in the Parameters tab would be great.
Being able to specify ID of template would be a great addition to this extra. Used this on a couple of sites and neither have used what would have been the default template.
I have discovered that this is available as part of the import options - my set up:
pagetitle;longtitle;tv13;tv14;tv15;tv16;tv17;tv18;description;introtext;template
I then added the template ID at the end and it works absolutely fine. May be worth adding to documentation :)
