PEBCAK? Instructions unclear?
Instructions seem vague for what "revert all fields to this point in time" actually does.
I also, personally, have trouble understanding what "undo" does when looking at a previous change.
Does revert set everything back to the "red" or the last "green" version?
Does undo set the field back to the "red" or to the "green" version?
Undo Undo is meant to undo the change you're looking at. i.e. change it back to the red version.
Revert all fields to this point in time
Yeah it's confusing, I know!
Whereas the Revert these changes button will only revert the changes directly within that delta, the Revert all fields to this point in time should revert all fields back to that point. This includes fields that were changed later but not included in that delta.
I'm open to new approaches on how to explain/present it better if you have any ideas!
I think the major confusion on the "revert all" is whether it reverts everything to before the delta or after.
Gotcha. It was originally planned to be a button on the delta but I thought that was too confusing since the other two buttons revert to before the delta but this one reverts to after the delta. That's why we ended up putting it between the deltas since that's where it's reverting too. It could still be a whole lot clearer though...
