dev-server breaks binary files

When run with wds --watch some binary files get distorted.

Tried with 0.4.6 and some older versions. On node v20.19.4.

Test file data.bin (60 bytes):

The same data truncated to 59 or less isn't distorted. Serving without --watch works ok.

That's totally insane!
