A hotkey to show/hide the main window
@ezsnackeur points out that with the RO mod zoo, finding Principia can require scrolling in the toolbar. Since our UI is pretty heavy but also needs to be brought up frequently, it would make sense to have a hotkey to show and hide it. (Hotkeys for other tasks sound tricky to design and are out of scope for this issue.)
~~In sort of relation to this, I would also suggest adding a button that allows the window to be condensed greatly, to cut down on screen space while still avoiding having to scroll the toolbar to open the window again. (and since currently you need the window open to plan a maneuver)~~

That last comment is an antipattern: this issue is about a hotkey. If there is a suggestion for a different improvement (whatever "condensed greatly" means) it should be a separate issue.
