Make navball+trajectory plotting frame different combinations possible
Example: I'd like to use surface-aligned navball while seeing "orbital" frame trajectory for polar launches.
As another use case where this feature would be helpful, when executing an ejection burn for an interplanetary transfer from e.g. Kerbin to Eve, I (would) find it convenient to
- set SAS to track prograde/tangential (in the Kerbin-centered inertial frame) for the burn
- follow the evolving trajectory in map view in various reference frames (KCI for the ejection, HCI to see the interplanetary trajectory, ECI or ESO for fine-tuning the approach).
Currently it is not possible to do both of these, as changing the plotting reference frame will also change the direction of the prograde marker on the navball (which SAS will follow).
This seems like a reasonable use case, and something to consider as part of the broader question of attitude-keeping (#2556); the attitude control law should not change as you look at the trajectory in different reference frames.
