📝 Docs: Document use of Mocha logo: attribution, licensing, and any restrictions
I know there was a PR somewhere that discussed attribution, but for the life of me I can't find it. Any particular reason?
We would love to be able to include your logo as part of our inventory but aren’t sure of the restrictions regarding its use for commercial purposes, so we would like to find out what your policy is regarding this and if this would be a possibility?
We do not plan to modify or alter the logo in any way or claim that it is ours. To get a better idea of how we plan to use the logo, please see the following website, as this is very similar to what we plan to do: https://www.stickermule.com/unixstickers.
I believe it's the same as the site, which is CC-BY-4.0.
I don't know of any further restrictions on its use, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. The old E.D. of the JS Foundation made noises about trademark registration. I don't know if anything ever happened on that front. Maybe @jorydotcom has some idea?
@AgaAgnieszkaBorcz If you do end up making Mocha stickers, it would be nice if you would send us some. :smile:
hello hello - since is for commercial use, I am 99% certain the @JSFOwner has to grant Stickermule an explicit license... @AgaAgnieszkaBorcz do you have an email address I can cc to confirm? Also can you explain what if any portion of the proceeds of this will be returned to the project?
