We could provide a `dnf5.fish` though. This won't break the original dnf, while providing a more updated completion for dnf5 users.
Vendors could ship an config file with `alias dnf=dnf5` if dnf5 was the default provider for `/usr/bin/dnf`

Yup, but I'd like to see upstream merging that if possible! Hope they could pick this up soon :)
Upstream is working to merge the change. Should be able to remove the replace directive soon.
@Hyask: For now, `git clone` this repo and run `go build` to build this. You can then copy the compiled binary to your preferred bin folder.
