Not sure I understand what this could be used for? Care to explain your use case for this or fig's equivalent?

In fig (http://fig.sh) You can scale image/cotainer just by specifying following command, it would be great if pig can provide such feature too..

$ fig scale web=2 worker=3

I know you can get multiple instances of the same configuration running using fig scale, but I'm not sure if I understand why it'd be useful in development environments?

What are you usually trying to achieve when you use fig scale?
