Encoder is difficult to fine tune and sometimes unreliable
- [x] replace tcrt5000 sensor PCB with a custom EE-SX1103 based PCB
- [x] add a "brake" to prevent the gear to continue spinning when the filament is ejected quickly
- [x] flare the return path for the filament to guide "kinked" ends of outrunning filament for endless spool mode
Current progress:
- ERCF Binky PCB v1.0 designed and first batch of 10 ordered (https://a360.co/3EyLsSb)
- Started to create a new version of the modified encoder that will use the new Binky PCB
PCBs arrived, sadly faulty (my fault) debugging right now
Second iteration of PCBs are on their way, herer are the current Files for the PCB and matching STL:
Second batch of PCBs arrived, sadly one last issue spotted, which can be "fixed" by flipping the Sensor to the other side of the board because 2 pins are mixed up on the board.
