Please add a method to enable double opt-in. according to the documentation at http://developer.mailchimp.com/documentation/mailchimp/guides/manage-subscribers-with-the-mailchimp-api/ This is achieved by sending 'pending' instead of 'subscribed' during the mailchimp API call.
