@acress1 you might look at discussion and links in https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/issues/2567 (There were some workarounds for OsmAnd there that might be helpful for OM too.)
IMHO it would be much better if you submitted each issue as separate bug/enhancemnt/support request, as it is impossible to track them otherwise (and as such is unlikely to be...
> I really don't want to clutter the screen with buttons. Absolutely agree; there is too little screen estate to begin with... If there is any other way, it should...
**(Update: added `--trust-server-names` to `wget` command line for reproducible results)** Hm, "Share via HTTP" v2.0.8 at least does not have that problem here. What client are you using, and can...
Ah, yes, sorry about that. `wget` does need `--trust-server-names` in order to trust server names (which is configured site-wide in my wget example, but is indeed not the upstream default)....

HTTP protocol by itself does not support upload of files. What you seem to want is FTP server or WebDAV server, but they require different clients
@Ammar64 you are correct of course... While I do not remember exact idea I was trying to convey several years ago :smiling_face_with_tear:, it was probably related to the fact that...
Ah, you seem to be talking about another FOSS app for similar purpose, https://github.com/Ammar64/Sharing, right @Ammar64 ? That seems interesting possible alternative for _shareviahttp_, especially if it remains actively developed....
