Reopening. The issue was accidentally closed by GitHub when I committed cd673d50d1acc3cb3f5d169a7e807fdf812bf7c8 to revert 7ed4d95885f91b70c5814ec308d5d2eb78d13f23.
I removed it in 8b02278498c3368d6e39982ad0e5b3657210370e because I thought it was unnecessary but I've had a few requests to bring it back. I've updated the README for now and will leave...

How can such a file be produced? When the [test fixtures](https://github.com/mnaberez/tdms/tree/fae48baa0a59949fb1e0f8106e6253ed108307c8/test) are generated with NI LabVIEW, they do not have this issue, so I don't know how to duplicate it.
