Adding a signature doesn't show the dialog window

I know this is not a bug in this package, but rather, wine support, however, I'm not sure what can be done in wine (configuration, version upgrade), so opening it here in the hopes you do.

When I want to sign a document I first need to add a signature. However when I try to do that the screen is grayed, the menu is not, and nothing can be done other than pressing 'esc'.

This may be to do with integration of file selection, showing a modal window. Maybe an update to wine (I see wine 6 is used, wine 8 is out)

This issue affects me as well. Signing is the main reason I am trying to install Adobe reader.

Hoping someone will have an idea where to start debugging!

This seems to be a recurring issue with Adobe Reader, see also https://github.com/mmtrt/acrordrdc/issues/2#issuecomment-1079589353
