Let us download games that we have on cart
I have the SD card adapter, and I'd like to download all the games I have on cart, to my SD card. But when I try it errors out saying they've been installed already.
What do you mean by "games I have on cart"? If game is already installed you cannot install it again, regardless of currently installed location.

So you are asking to install game even if you have cart inserted?
Does VitaShell library refresh installs the game for you when you have cart inserted? If it does then it should be possible to update pkgi to do it also. Otherwise probably no.

Installed, like how every Vita game installs to the dashboard. But the contents are still on the cart. You can't install a cart game to the SD card, cause the SD card adapter takes up the cart slot.
So if I understand correctly, your situation is following:
- you inserted cart, installed game, which only puts icon on dashboard
- you removed cart, and put in micro sdcard
- game icon is still on dashboard, but it doesnot launch game of course
- you want pkgi to download game files and put it in proper location so icon works
Why so complicated? Just remove icon, and install game again. I don't see you gain anything by keeping icon from cart installation and downloading game files from scratch.
