Yes, notice this issue myself. Basically the library I use to show the spinner/progress indicator doesn't play well with App Extensions, so I need to find a replacement.

There's no caching in Strongbox for this but iOS definitely has some kind of caching going on, and possibly the third party app... It's a bit of a black box...
