Hello there! Unfortunately I can't test Eddystone support myself, I only have a bunch of Estimotes and Kontakt beacons for testing purpose. I can help you debug their monitoring though!...

Regarding the background service... the last time I took a look at it it didn't seem doable on React-Native... but I would be happy to be proved wrong.
