No Longer Works With RetroPie x86-64

Emits the error that RetroPie isn’t installed when RetroPie was just freshly installed on the device. Is the latest release of RetroPie supported?

Hi, how exactly have you installed RetroPie?

Thanks! I installed it per the official instructions on the website on top of a fresh install of Elementary OS 5.1 (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS derivative). I really cannot explain why it isn't being detected when RetroPie has been working for me. I have everything installed from beginning to end including all the experimental options.

Oh I see! In prebuild RetroPie images, the user is called pi and the scripts have a fixed location, under home. As you're doing it manually, I suppose your name is different or the script is located somewhere else, which is why the program can't find it.

Gotcha. Well, x86 doesn't really come prebuilt. Right now, I am using the username arcade. Is there anything I can do to get this to work?

I've just released a new version, which should fix this. Also make sure the repo is checked out in your in your home directory, ie. in /home/yourname/RetroPie-Setup/.
