Text effects (Strikeout & Underline) don’t work

This issue was reported in the forum over 2 years ago and is still present in the current version (20.04.12).

Confirmed, It is still an issue in version 20.09.27.

This is not supported because the button in Shotcut UI is to choose the typeface and size only, but the font dialog (not made by us) is showing other options that are not supported by the engine. Use Text: Rich if you want underline. There are no immediate plans to address this.
