You might find my htcondor Docker image also useful. There is a branch called R-test with R installed. Also here it is on the Docker Hub.

Does anyone know if there has been any progress on HTCondor support? I am working with someone who uses HTCondor and would love to be able to use the "future" package in our joint work (which would use 'future.batchtools' which depends on 'batchtools'.
