Automator Action Broke with Upgrade to High Sierra?

Open jeremy-beasley opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

I believe the Quarantine action broke during the upgrade to macOS High Sierra. After upgrading today, I started experiences unexpected behavior with the workflow (currently using it to move all Airdrop'd files from Downloads to Desktop). At the moment, I've modified the workflow to remove the Quarantine action such that any file that touches Downloads is moved.

Should be easy to repro. Let me know if you have any questions.

Exactly same issue. As soon as I upgraded to High Sierra action does't work any more. Automator said the action is not valid and cannot be loaded. But even if I load it manually it does't work. Please update.

Mine's not working either after High Sierra, but when I open the workflow, I get The action "Quarantine Filter" was not loaded because it is from an unidentified developer."

OK. Running sudo spctl --master-disable and re-opening the workflow allowed me to load it. Seems like it should work now.
