Inverter Operation modes

Hi, can anyone tell me, what exactly the modes in "Inverter Operation Modes" does? I cant find any information.

I need a mode, were the Battery is not discharging.

Try backup mode? It only uses the battery if there is not enough sun and no grid.

Basically:

• Backup mode. Only use battery for backup when not enough solar and grid unavailable. Also charges battery from grid.
• General mode. First use solar then battery and grid last.
• Eco mode. depends on the rules programmed.

Another method you can use instead of setting backup mode, is to manage the DoD (on-grid) through home assistant. Setting this to a very low value, like 16%, will only use 16% of your bettery. You can even set it to 1% if you really want. Then charging will only happen from solar but discharging of battery can also be limited.

thanks a lot, I will try. I also testet Backup mode, but I recognized that, as you also wrote, the battery is charged from grid. But in my case I will let the battery charge to 100% from PV first. So its not really an issue.

I'm not sure, what settings you mean, to manage the DoD through home assistant? Can you please explain that in more detail?
