A _LOT_ of cisco equipment can do OSPF out of the box but they want a plus license for BGP. I suspect many of us might like this feature.
Not a complaint!! You are doing great work, just wanted to chime in on the wish list.
I was wondering if running bird or quagga as part of metallb for the routing portion might be a possibility. It seems like it might make make long term maintenance...
fair enough
IPVS has added maglev hashing: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/net/netfilter/ipvs/Kconfig#L228 Also, kube-router is in the process of making this available. https://github.com/cloudnativelabs/kube-router/issues/166
Juat a note that kube-routers maglev support (cloudnativelabs/kube-router#166) seems to be stuck somewhere in 2017. I was pretty stoked when this came out, but have give up hope.
Couldn't this information be exposed with k8s custom resources?
1.27.12 is missing, I assume it is related to this issue.
Another appealing option might be to allow disabling of security if you are going to handle auth at the webserver level. Although this would not allow separate roles.
I believe this might be the same issue I mentioned here: https://github.com/robusta-dev/prometrix/issues/6
