Plain Linux install wanted

I would really like to test this out. As it is now I don't know how to install, the install procedure is too cryptic. I'm not going to use Vagrant or Ansible for anything else, so I won't be bothered to fiddle around with this. Please supply a "plain" linux install, or preferably a deb package.

There is a pull request with some instructions in it, although it's from two years ago, so YMMV.

If you want to a create a package for your platform, I'm sure the maintainers won't mind :)
