This sounds very close to my needs as described in https://github.com/mkvenkit/mico/issues/5 . I am actually following audiomoth but it is super bulky for my simple use cases.

I am glad @mahesh-electronut thinks the computational power is there to have 2 mics on 1 rpi2040. That would also bring down the average power consumption I think. Btw. do you think the estimates in https://github.com/mkvenkit/mico/issues/5#issuecomment-1041237483 are reachable?
