Network throughput drops: VMW Workstation Pro Linux host, Windows 10 or 11 guest

Distro: Slackware current Kernel: 5.15.16 SMP vmci and vsock modules configured in kernel as modules. VMWare Workstation Version: 16.2.1 mkubecek Host modules: b4bc6b0 2022-01-11 (HEAD -> workstation-16.2.1, origin/workstation-16.2.1) vmnet: use accessors for net_device::dev_addr VMW: Network Configuration: Bridged

Up/Download speed host: 300-400MBps Up/Download speed guest: 5-50MBps (firewall and anti virus disabled). Sometimes Upload does not work at all.

Tested on W11 and also old W10 installation.

When guest running, this disrupts many functions such as updates, Media Creation Tool. It also restricts host network access. This is a new observation. Network speed was never an issue previously.
