Possible Open Source Firmware Integration

This is an awesome tool but after switching on to Daniel Nillson's open source firmware (https://github.com/danielnilsson9/bbs-fw) I am not going back to Bafang's original one and I can't use SPEEED. Do you think it would be possible to do some collaboration and make SPEEED compatible with his firmware. That would be truly awesome for the community?

I'd be willing to looking into the changes, unfortunately without source code it is impossible. :(

In fact, I cant understand why @mkopa abuses GitHub, when he does not even publish the code?!
