The plugin works wrong for unknown reason.

Traces goes absolutely wrong with default preferences

and after trace color changed to black it goes so click Os: win10 QGIS: 3.24.2 CS: UTM 42N (WGS84)

for some reason cant send example files. but ready to provide additional information.

Hello Nick! This looks like the raster_tracer tries to trace not over black but over gray pixels. But I have no idea why it keeps tracing gray pixels even after you explicitly set black color. Could you send me an email with this file (my email is provided in my account)?

What color space your layer has? RGB? Grey? If it's Greyscale could you try to change it to RGB and try again?

It's RGB. I just "dissaturate it" in overlay preferences. But it works same and without dissaturation.

Strange thing is that it is repeats the shape of black contour, but with displacement, so it is could be transformation problem. But at the same time it is starts in right pixel.

Will contact you through email.

Things like that could happen also due to the wrong shade of color to trace.

Will contact you through email.

You're welcome to do this.
