settings confusion

Open sebastus opened this issue 6 years ago • 1 comments

my settings.json has been working great for months. last time I used it was 16 days ago - about Nov 15, 2017. Now, when I click on the settings.json file in .vscode, I get a double pane with vscode default settings on the left and vs-deploy settings on the right. and the deployment triggers don't work. Before I spend hours debugging, does this ring a bell with anyone?

What was your last version of VSCode / the extension?

I also wondered some weeks ago, that I get a double pane now, if I click on the settings.json in my project, even when I deactivate the extension for some of my projects.

What kind of deployment triggers do you use in your current scenario?

In some cases it might help to have a "clean" installed version of the extension: uninstall the old one, delete all mkloubert.vs-deploy-* folders in your .vscode/extensions folder and reinstall it.
