Text to active window very slow after 4.7 update

Thank you for this excellent program. I'm running it on kubuntu 22.04. After updating to 4.7, the text to active window function now "types" it very slowly, probably about the same as my 30 wpm typing that I use speech not to replace. On 4.6 it was quite fast. With 4.7 it's still very fast when I use the application window. Any suggestions, or how to downgrade back to 4.6 until it's fixed?

In the new version 4.8.0. you can set the Key stroke delay for the XDO method in Settings->Advanced. By using a low value, such as 10, you can speed up text insertion.
