Nix Package

There is an open request in the nixpkgs repo for packaging this software.

Nix is a package manager with tens of thousands of packages, it works on any Linux OS and MacOS.

Devs might be interested in packaging it themselves.

Thanks for letting me know. I was not aware that there is an ongoing effort to make a Nix package :) I guess this might be a challenge due to the huge number of dependencies...

I know almost nothing about Nix and definitely nothing about the Nix package format, so I can't help directly, but I can always answer a specific question if there is one.
