Unable to use AMD card, rocBLAS error
Installed Speech Note via flatpak on a Acer Nitro 16 laptop running Manjaro Linux. It is an Optimus laptop with AMD Ryzen™ 9 7940HS w/ Radeon™ 780M Graphics × NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. Can use NVIDIA without problem, but when I select AMD card for GPU acceleration, the program exist without any error message.

Thanks for the report.
You have installed AMD Add-on for GPU acceleration, right? Please make sure that NVIDIA Add-on is uninstalled. Only one GPU add-on (AMD or NVIDIA) should be installed at the same time.
App crashes because ROCm doesn't support your GPU card. You may try to override GPU version to mimic other card by changing Settings->Other->Override GPU version. Sometimes this helps.
In Speech Note 4.5-beta, ROCm has been updated to version 5.7 which has wider support for RDNA 3.0 cards. This also may help. Speech Note beta is available on flathub-beta channel. If you decided to install the beta, install also add-on from the beta channel.
To have better logging please run the app with --verbose option like this:
flatpak run net.mkiol.SpeechNote --verbose

Yes, overriding the GPU version had the same effect. So, I installed the beta version (4.5.0-beta), but I got the same error, even with the override GPU version checked. Apparently, ROCm v. 5.7.3 does not support my card.

Indeed AUR package is currently broken but a fix is on the way.
Working PKGBUILD is in a GIT repo, so if you are brave enough you may try to make package for Arch directly with makepkg command. Follow steps for git. By default CUDA and ROCm are disabled, so you need to edit and change FULL_BUILD=false to FULL_BUILD=true in PKGBUILD script. Also make sure that rocm-hip-sdk pkg is installed in your system. Be warn, the build may take 30 min.
I installed the GIT pkg from AUR after enabling both FULL_BUILD and CI_BUILD to true. rocm-hip-sdk pkg was already installed. By the way, the build took less than 15 min on my machine.
Some optional features were not available:
The program exited when I tried to use ROCm for GPU acceleration. With NVIDIA, it worked without a problem, but the response time seemed a bit less performant or slower compared to the flatpak pkg. I did not make any measurement, so it may be subjective.
I switched back to the flatpak-beta pkg for the time being.

I installed the GIT pkg from AUR after enabling both FULL_BUILD and CI_BUILD to true
Setting CI_BUILD=true disables Translator. It is intended for CI integration only. You had to change CI_BUILD to true because otherwise the build failed?
Some optional features were not available
Arch package does not provide Python dependencies therefore all features that require Python are not available. To use them you need to install manually Python libraries in your system. If you are using venv, you can point in the settings where python libs are located.
Most useful python dependencies:

The program exited when I tried to use ROCm for GPU acceleration.
The problem is in ROCm and update didn't help. There's not much I can do to fix this problem. Currently ROCm supports very limited number of graphics cards.
With NVIDIA, it worked without a problem, but the response time seemed a bit less performant or slower compared to the flatpak pkg. I did not make any measurement, so it may be subjective.
There is a log with decoding duration. It can be used for benchmarking. You can transcribe the same audio file with Flatpak and with your own version and compare times. I use this method to check performance regressions. Look for log like similar to this:
