@kleintom This is by design. The id is not persistent. To recover records we need to reference the occurrenceID.

Indeed- we want to deprecate the Match tool as much as possible and move that functionality here.

@mmkohler If you move a depiciton then it no longer needs to be destroyed, can you clarify the issue?
Note- this is a back-end change that requires us to look for the Identifier before creating the CO.
