No annotations on buttons

I have the latest version of OSX (version 10.14.6), with the easy fig 2.2 the buttons were empty. I wonder what is wrong? Regards Lynx Screen Shot 2019-08-09 at 6 52 07 pm

This issue remains in current version but can be resolved by resizing the window: drag the corner of the window to make it a little larger and the annotations of the buttons will appear as normal.
