My first PR by the way, so apologies if I did something wrong :)

Just a few notes, I also added an explicit endOfLine configuration in prettier since npm run format changed every line ending to lf and wanted me to commit every single file again.

And I don't know if it's just a me issue, but the format script in package.json wouldn't work with quotes around the patterns, so I removed them so I could commit, but if that's an issue just put them back in again, however I can't commit with them there so if you accept this PR probably do it at the end, just in-case I need to update the commit too.
