Nixpkgs bug: USB HID devices are not being detected; "account needs write access to USB HID controllers"

Bug Description

This bug seems to only occur in NixOS.

In the Mixxx software, when you plug in a device recognized with USB HID, you're met with this issued warning:

Warning [Controller]: USB permissions problem (or device error.) Your account needs write access to USB HID controllers.

In NixOS, Mixxx works fine with MIDI devices, but not HID.

We don't package for nixOS, you should probably report this to the distro's package maintainer instead.

I only have this issue on Archlinux, even with the udev rules matching my vendor. Maybe there's a user group I am missing ? I tend to enter them myself and was already missing the user one.
