What is the desired functionality for the version comment in this situation:

Situation:

Checklist -> HDF (original_file.ckl -> original_file_converted_to_hdf.json) HDF -> Checklist (original_file_converted_to_hdf.json -> original_file_converted_to_hdf_converted_back_to_ckl.ckl)

Possible Results (OPTION A or OPTION B):
