Editing column headers in formula bar is confusing

When using the formula bar + clicking on column headers to reference them, I'm only able to add the column I am editing the formula of.

This is because he was editing the column header, not writing a formula in the column. Classic mistake, and we can probably clarify the behavior here. Leaving for now an opening an issue.
