How to start
Hi, i have ESP Alert app, i have ESP32 board, i have nRF Connect app connected, apps to notification are selected and service is running, but i can't get my notification to my ESP. So I want to ask if I'm doing something wrong or where i can search for errors. I will be really gratefull for reply.
Have you added the MAC of the ESP32 into the ESP32 Alerts App under Settings?
Okay, time i comming, batt lvl is comming, but messages and display flip doesn't. Some kind of bug, or there is problem with my phone?
To make this work, look at all the options on the ESP Alerts APP, it is self explanatory as to what is need to make it function.
Messsages is only a dead link and flip does not work.
If you need any adjustments, you need to be familiar with Kotlin and ESP32 code.
I'm really greatfull for your help and time. ESP32 coding is familiar for me, but only one app i have is version from this link: https://github.com/mitchwongho/ESP-Alerts-for-Android/issues/7 in settings are only :
"Run as a servise" "Start at boot" "Flip display vertically" "Remote MAC address"
something important is missing here?
What is missing? Ignore Flip Display. Tick Run as service and Start at Boot. Enter the MAC of the ESP32.
Thats it other than accepting all Android secuirty permissions.
