high CPU usage

First, thank you for this very cool ampache client. I'm struggle with high CPU load from the browsers (Firefox, Chromium). I had very slow browsing, that I "fixed" by lowering "offset limit" setting from the ampache user (from 500 to 50). Even with that, CPU usage when ample tab is on focus is constantly high, event when not playing anything. switching to another tab seriously lower the CPU usage, even when playing. Hiding the player and the queue from the GUI doesn't help. Playback normalize (and night mode) is disabled.

Do you think of some settings / features to switch off ?

Please note : I have some plugins on my firefox, but chromium is clean. Both my client and server hosts are powerfull computers.
