User attribute Mappings not being created

Upon integrating with an IDP I can verify that the user attributes are present in $_SERVER however they are not being mapped to the user accounts, using Wordpress 4.6.1

Did a bit more troubleshooting, this seems to happen if there is an email collision with the user, might be worth considering checking on login to see if the account can actually be created properly. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for the feedback, sounds like this should be tasked out as: "Gracefully Handle Account Creation Errors/Collisions (e.g. existing account with matching email address)"

Hello, thank you for reporting this issue. I have opened this as michaelryanmcneill/shibboleth#3. I am the new maintainer of the plugin and all further work on the plugin will be done in that new GitHub repository. I would recommend to follow that issue for updates moving forward.
