Brainstorming for ideas for generating vitae cvs in different languages

I've so far successfully been using the vitae package to generate my CV and I love it. I am applying to some job offers that require CVs be submitted in different languages than English (e.g., French). Of course, one could simply copy the entire repo, and then manually translate every file accordingly. However, this has two problems: (1) it is time consuming, and (2) changes in the primary repo won't follow to the second repo, so all the work has to be done twice, and version control won't be the same.

I would like to use this issue to brainstorm ideas for possible solutions. Some options:

  1. Pass the final PDF file into Google Translate to get a Machine Translated PDF (but not professional-looking).
  2. Make a subfolder within the same repo with just the translated files and adapted internal URLs (but, still have to double the work)
  3. Use gtranslate package to somehow automatically convert the text as it is being rendered, or temporarily alter the file as such before the rendering.

Which one do you think would work best? Do you have any other ideas? If you like option 3 I could make a proof of concept demo and perhaps submit a PR to offer it as an optional feature if it is promising.
