i tried http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~goamz/goamz/trunk/revision/49 but it is not working here. neither cn-north-1 nor eu-central-1. The error is in both cases: The request must contain the parameter AWSAccessKeyId (MissingParameter)

I'm also desperate to see this fixed as I need eu-central-1 support for Packer (https://github.com/mitchellh/packer/issues/1646).

I'm assuming the hold up and this PR seemingly being ignored is that Packer, like Terraform, will probably switch to the official aws-sdk-go (https://github.com/mitchellh/packer/pull/2034).

Compiling using this branch solves the problems

@vedit as packer has switched to aws-sdk-go, so i guess this goamz will not be maintained here.
